Following on from the critically acclaimed and commercially successful second year in 2016, Ramblin’ Man Fair returns in 2017! Ramblin’ Man Fair is the must see event for discerning festival goers. A quality musical line up with a number of UK exclusive performances. The event is a unique experience fast becoming a staple of the UK festival calendar.
The festival will take place in the beautiful Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent – the garden of England. The park is one of the largest in South East England with more than 450 acres of mature parkland and a 30-acre lake. With multiple travel links via train (Ashford International, Maidstone East and Maidstone West in close proximity) and road (with three park and rides available around Maidstone). The festival site is also perfect for European festival goers with easy links to the London airports, Eurostar via Ashford Int’l and Channel Ferries to and from mainland Europe.
Ramblin’ Man Fair for the first time adds a third day, The festival will now be open from 4pm on Friday 28th July with the first wave of bands announced below!
The festival will be split into four stages over three days. Stages announced so far include Planet RockMainstage, Prog In the Park Stage, Outlaw Country Stage and Blues Stage. New for 2017 is a Guest stage unique to next year’s event more details of which will emerge in a later release. Announced acts to date are:

U.F.O (Planet Rock Mainstage) – Multi-million selling classic British hard rock / metal legends UFO will make their first appearance at Ramblin’ Man Fair as special guests of ZZ Top on Sunday 30th July. Formed in London in 1969, UFO have been cited as huge influence to some of the biggest bands of all time, such as Metallica, Iron Maiden and many more . UFO’s magnificent 22nd album, ‘A Conspiracy Of Stars’ released in February 2015, was universally hailed by the media as one of the best albums the band have ever made. It will be honour to see them grace the main stage at this year’s festival.
Toseland (Planet Rock Mainstage) – Toseland is the band fronted by James Toseland. Since their critically acclaimed debut album “Renegade” in 2014, the band have developed into one of the most exciting new British rock bands, supporting the likes of Status Quo, Reef, The Darkness and playing storming sets at Download and Hard Rock Calling. 2016 saw them release follow up album “Cradle The Rage” which was produced by Toby Jepson (Little Angels) and mixed by Mike Fraser (AC/DC). This is Toseland’s second visit to Ramblin’ Man Fair.
Scorpion Child (Grooverider Stage) – Infused with the bluesy swagger and the semi-mystic, thunderous kick-drum assault of iconic bands like Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, Rainbow and Black Sabbath, hard-hitting Austin, Texas-based quintet Scorpion Child offer up a heady mix of classic rock, old school heavy metal and Southwest-kissed psych-rock.
